Multi-Tasking

I love to do multiple things at the same time.
I perform best when i am multitasking.
Multitasking takes me away from my thoughts.
I dont have time for myself.
But still I can find time to squeeze in more tasks.
Funny, eh!
But as I have found, I have certain limits.
I can manage a maximum of four things at a time.
And at present blogging is a distant seventh.

(Based on the feedback received, I will be changing the blog template soon. It really is confusing, at least to non-bloggers. )

1) Even the bloggers get confused
2) A distant seventh. I can see that. No posts for a long time.
3) four at a time? Wow! I can do a max of 2 or 3. I really get psycho at 4. Any tips?? Yea, but unlike u, i hate multitasking! But am forced into it!

Thanks for agreeing with me. And I guess, multitasking is the only way I get the things done. Doing only one thing at a time is boring. No wonder my taskbar is always an inch high. ;)

I want to be away from thoughts. Because I know there's a BIG difference between thinking and doing. I am a bad planner.

My multitasking fails, when I am supposed to be there at two places at the same time. Hey...but thats life...Who's complaining?
;)

I know what you mean about multi-tasking. I, for one, can't stand doing just one thing at the time. It seems like such a waste of time haha.

Multi-tasking, as a concept, was adopted by Corporate America as an obvious benefit to the employer by increasing productivity through extracting 2 or 3 times the amount of work out of 1 person without increasing pay and benefits. Marketed to the middle class of society as a desirable characteristic, it benefits the average worker with an increase in self-esteem.

Human beings most attracted to the multitasking concept are usually unable to concentrate on tasks, ideas, or projects for long periods of time.

It's quite interesting to note that visionaries, creators, and leaders at the top rung of organizations usually do not consider themselves to be multi-tasker's.

Some examples of the types of jobs which require multi-tasking include; managers, assistants, customer service, information technology, human resources, etc.

The idea that one would like to be distracted from ones own thoughts suggests those thoughts must not be very engaging.

Multi-tasking is certainly not a sign of greater intelligence. It belongs to the group of people in the middle, which is most of the human race.

Albert Einstein, Bill Gates, Stephen Hawking, Charles Darwin - I doubt they were multi-taskers.

Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan all consider themselves to be multi-taskers. They can chew gum and walk at the same time! I doubt any of them could sit down and read a book for 10 hours.
